Filter Management Systems
The decision to install filter management systems is driven by the need to not only be able to fully understand the operation of the filter system, but to also be able improve plant efficiency and in particular to ensure that the functionality of these filters can be controlled and maintained so they may operate at their optimum performance levels. Employing Electrodynamic trending sensors in each compartment of a multi-chamber bag house allows plant operators to observe the real-time changes in base line emissions and to have instantaneous, plant wide access to the functionality of their filter. These systems also allow the potential for total control & performance optimisation of the bag house together with the possibility to reduce both filter downtime and maintenance costs by providing the opportunity to employ preventative maintenance programmes. Compliance Measurement
Dependent on the type of filtration employed PCME provide a range of monitoring solutions including Pro-Scatter and Electrodynamic to meet international legislative requirements such as EN14181 (EN-13284-2) and US EPA (PS-11). For applications not falling under these international standards PCME also supply Dynamic Opacity systems to provide an approved (TUV BlmSchV 17) alternative to traditional opacity systems which offer enhanced performance and significantly lower costs of ownership. Activated Carbon and Lime Flow Monitoring
PCME provides instrumentation to monitor the injection of activated carbon and limestone into the incineration process. Both no-intrusive Electrodynamic and loss in weight systems are available to provide alarms when flow rates fall outside of a pre-determined range. [top]
