A World First in Continuous
Particulate Emission Approvals
PCME Ltd's Electrodynamic technology-based products for stack applications have been approved to BImSchV 13 and 17 based on performance in low dust concentration applications. This is the first time a probe based dust monitoring technique has acquired BImSchV 13 and 17 approvals.
The 270T and 770T, which were field tested on a lead smelting plant in the range
0 - 15 mg/m3, satisfied the stringent accuracy and repeatability requirements demanded by German standards tested by the independent test authority, TÜV.
"We are delighted to achieve this accreditation which contributes to PCME's ongoing investment programme in regulatory approval processes." says John Gallucci, Sales Director. "It also reflects the company's commitment to product quality and reliability and the confidence it provides in solving particulate monitoring applications. Process Operators now have a choice of technology with our Electrodynamic technique and we are proud to once again be the first in achieving this new certification to our instruments.
