PCME
Ltd demonstrates it's new powder velocity monitor
PCME
Ltd demonstrated it's new powder velocity monitor, the V-Tess
for on-line mass monitoring and controlling processes in
the food, cement, pharmaceutical and other powder based
processes at Solidex 2001. Monitoring powder movement in
pipes is critical for many process plant operations in achieving
optimum conveying speed and balancing pneumatic transfer
systems on-line to reduce particle damage and minimise product
wastage. Complementing PCME's well-proven Electrodynamic
sensor technology is a new dynamic radar sensor providing
complete capability for mass flow measurements in larger
pipes in dilute phase and free-fall conveying.
Also
on display was a range of MCERTS accredited compliance instruments
for particulate emission monitoring and the latest developments
in a new range of concentration, velocity and mass emission
systems. This new range allows mass discharge data from
stacks in mass kg/hr or totalised per year to be produced
for environmental impact protocol.
