New
Continuous and Automated Measuring System for Particulate
Emissions
The
new DT-990, from PCME Ltd world-leading manufacturers of
particulate emission monitoring systems, provides continuous
and automated measurement for particulate emissions. The
instrument design permits up to 32 sensors to be connected
to a single control unit which provides automated data recording
and PC reporting options for regulatory compliance.
The
DT-990 combines precision particle measurement with PCME's
unique Electrodynamic measurement principal which is not
significantly affected by velocity variations and is unaffected
by build-up on the rod surface. It, therefore, provides
effective particulate measurement in the most aggressive
environments including variable velocity stacks and bagfilters.
In addition, PCME's Electrodynamic technique enables the
use of fully insulated probes, essential for high humidity
gas streams and applications with high conductive dust loadings.
This measurement technique also permits measurement at very
low concentrations.
The
system includes the most advanced automatic zero and span
checks available on a probe system to provide full regulatory
compatibility. The unique contamination circuit provides
the ultimate proof that the sensors measurement integrity
is un-compromised.
The
advanced user interface includes alarm status, multi-channel
bar graphs, text and graph review screens of emissions.
Other features include on-board normalisation for T and
02, multi-lingual support and advanced diagnostics for locating
broken bags in bagfilters.
Industrial
plant operators have long been looking for a rugged particle
emission monitoring system which can easily be integrated
into plant and PC network systems. The DT-990 provides the
security of an independent instrument while satisfying these
connectivity requirements.
